Our Team

Angela “Annie” Hill
Certified Doula

Annie offers 42 years of heart and expertise as a prenatal, birth, postpartum, elder care, and death doula. Her training includes waterbirth and peanut ball techniques, and she’s a Certified Peanut Ball Ambassador, aiding moms in labor. As a childbirth educator, she empowers parents with knowledge for every path.

She meets mothers where they are, supporting cesarean births, inductions, medicated, or natural deliveries with care. Former head of the Madriella Doula Advisory Board, she modernized its curriculum as senior trainer, focusing on informed consent and evidence based care.  A new Arkansas law lets her accept Medicaid and health insurance, broadening access.

Based in Central Arkansas, this mom of seven and grandma to five loves homesteading and quail raising. Catch her in a t-shirt proclaiming ‘Fluent in Fowl Language,’ showcasing her quirky charm!

Renee’ Bertot
Student/Apprentice Doula

A graduate of University of Georgia, Renee with a degree in Archaeology.  Renee brings a deep respect for other cultures and ways of living, as well as her love of Christ to our practice.

We are very honored to have Renee as part of Bright Blessings Birth Services, and when you call, you might just get her on the phone.  Feel free to say hello, and as she is still in the academic and shadowing stage of her studies, she attends births in Central Arkansas, but not as a primary doula.
