Bright Blessings birth doula packages currently include 2 postpartum visits as part of the basic birth support package.
Standalone postpartum doula services are planned for later, with a rate sheet expected by the end of summer.
What Postpartum Doula Support Is
Postpartum doula care supports the family system after birth. It may include recovery check-ins, emotional support, birth processing, feeding and adjustment conversations, emotional wellbeing, resource navigation, education, referrals when needed, and practical transition support.
What Postpartum Doula Support Is Not
A postpartum doula is not a nanny, housekeeper, newborn care specialist, or “baby nurse.” The role is not to take over the household or replace family care. The role is to support the parent, baby, and family as they recover, learn, and adjust.

At this time, Bright Blessings is booking birth doula packages, which include prenatal care, birth support, and postpartum visits. Standalone postpartum doula care will be announced when it becomes available.
